Introducing the Adobe Flyer dragon boat crew! We rocked the waters and snagged the division D crown last year at the Dragon Boat Festival. We loved it so much, we registered an official dragon boat club at Adobe! Now, we're stoked to paddle back in, ready to bring the heat and win big!

The ALmighty Dragons was founded by the Air Liquide Asian Diversity Network, ALADN, which is a Business Resource Group committed to bringing awareness to the rich heritage and diverse; broad spectrum of Asian cultures, promoting employee engagement through networking and community service; and driving business results through leadership development and mentorship opportunities. Aqua Centauri is proud to make our debut at this year’s race! We’re a crew made up of members and friends from Centauri AI, a YCombinator-backed startup building a modern data platform to help financial and investment teams work faster and smarter. While most days you’ll find us orchestrating intelligent AI agents and developing state-of-the-art RAG systems, we’ve traded our keyboards for paddles to take on a new kind of challenge—on the water.

The Google Dragoons are hitting the water for the first time this year, bringing together an exciting mix of talent and passion! Half of our paddlers come from YouTube, a quarter from various Google product areas, and the remaining quarter comprised of dedicated friends and family.

Pilot-in-command (PIC) is an NVIDIA term for the person acting as the point of contact for an initiative. They don't need to be an expert at everything or do everything, but are responsible for the overall success of the mission, fighting for everyone to achieve it. PICs resolve ambiguity, and if anything needs to be addressed, they have it done or escalate to have it addressed. Our mission is to do the best we possibly can in the novice sprints race, and we are all the NVIDIA Pilots in Command!

Speed of Light is one of NVIDIA's principles guiding how we operate. It's a metaphor for the standard of perfection that we hold ourselves to - close enough to be useful, but also forever just out of reach. It's the bar we measure against, rather than "good enough". NVIDIA Speed of Light is named after this guiding principle as we strive to do our best in the 2024 Bay Area Dragon Boat Novice Race.

We are parents of the Redwood City Mandarin Immersion Program. We are excited to take our passion for Chinese cultural events to the next level and participate in the Bay Area Dragon Boat Novice Race! We look forward to raising interest and excitement among the mid-peninsula community around the Dragon Boat Festival with our participation. Cheers!

We hail from Emeryville where we make the latest and greatest feature animation films with a team made up of folks from all around the studio; some creative, some technical, but all with a desire to collaborate and make any project we're working on great! We Be Dragon is Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Employee Services Associations’ critical mass of novice paddlers. The team fuses fun, water and networking into an explosive burst of paddling fury.

The Wenzhou WuMa Dragon Team consists of athletic members from the Silicon Valley Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce (SVWCC). SVWCC has members from over 100 technology firms in silicon valley. Wenzhou people is a group of Oujiang Wu Chinese speaking peoples in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province. Wenzhou people are known for their business and money making skills. Wenzhounese people have also made notable contributions to mathematics and technology.

The Workday Dragon Boat team started in 2019. Over the years, we have expanded with enthusiastic workmates who have a love for the sport of dragon boat. Each year, we aim to continue our growth and compete against others in this fun and competitive annual event. 

Building a sense of community is a passion among our Workday Workmates. Did you know: We have over 100 Workclubs with global chapters celebrating foodies, sports enthusiasts, dog lovers, and more! Even a Dragon Boat Club! The Pleasanton Workday Dragon Boat team will paddle their hearts out with synchronized strokes to cheering crowds as fueled for their determination forward.
